Google’s “Friend Connect”, “MySpace Data availability” and “Facebook Connect” seem to mark an almost Pentecostal event for Social Networking. No longer is each Network speaking its own language to its own closed group of users: soon we all get to share without boundaries. But what spirit is motivating these developments?
