The Back to the Future trilogy ranks high on my list of all-time favorite movies. Part II is my favorite of the three, followed by I and III. Even though I watched the trilogy multiple times, there is one continuity problem I can’t believe I never spotted before!
Remember how the ending of BTTF I showed Marty and his girlfriend Jennifer being revisited by Doc in a flying DeLorean? And how we see the same scene again at the beginning of BTTF II? Identical scene, right?
Not! The beginning of BTTF II was shot much later, with a different actress taking over the role of Jennifer. Want proof of this HUGE disruption of the very fabric of the Space Time continuum? Here it is:
