Today, I have been examining the list of well-known and lesser-known Church Fathers in search of good candidates for my research. I need to narrow down my focus to one or two Church Fathers. Obviously, I need candidates with well-documented communication skills.
Perhaps the Greek fathers Cyril of Alexandria and John Chrysostom?

How about choosing one Father from the East, and one from the West? In the interest of “breathing with both lungs…”
From the West, I’d opt for Ambrose or Augustine.
I think St. Augustine and St. John Chrysostom are very interesting from a communications point of view.
Clayton, this would be my option too.
Hi Father Roderick,
In looking at the SQPN Saints site, it looks like there are a few candidates for your dissertation in the patron categories of communications and writers:
St. Bernadine of Siena (communications)
St. Francis de Sales (writer)
John the Apostle (writer)
Paul the Apostle (writer)
God Bless,
